A Mumbai-based marine engineer, Deonandan Prasad Singh, was killed in a drone attack on the oil tanker MT Safesea Vishnu near Khor Al Zubair Port in Iraq, according to reports.
Singh, who was in his mid-50s, was among the crew members aboard the vessel when the attack occurred. Authorities confirmed that 15 other crew members on board were safely rescued following the incident.
