Mumbai Police asks Pak singer Adnan Sami to leave India

Mumbai :Pakistani singer Adnan Sami was issued notice by Mumbai Police and asked to appear before them and then leave the country after his visa expired earlier this month.

Adnan Samis visa to India had expired, and Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena, the film wing of the Raj Thackeray-led MNS, had on Monday asked Adnan to leave the country, as he was allegedly staying in India.

Adnan had previously told a family court that he had a Pakistani passport and was residing in India on the basis of visa granted to him from time to time. He said his visa was valid from September 26, 2012 till October 6, 2013.
