After successfully venturing into Delhi’s dairy market, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which markets products under the Nandini brand, is now set to introduce its fresh dairy offerings, including milk and curd, in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

According to KMF officials, Nandini dairy products will be available in northern Uttar Pradesh and Jaipur by the end of this month. Having launched milk and curd in the national capital on November 21, 2024, the federation is now working on strengthening its presence in Delhi’s border regions.

As part of its expansion strategy in North India, KMF aims to compete with leading dairy brands like Amul (Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation). To facilitate this, the federation has set up a new milk packaging plant in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, near Delhi.

“The distribution network will soon cover cities such as Agra, Mathura, and Meerut. All necessary arrangements are being finalized to kickstart sales from March 16. Similarly, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, our products will hit the market by the end of the month,” said KMF Managing Director B Shivaswamy.

This move is expected to enhance Nandini’s market share in northern states and strengthen its presence beyond South India.
