Modi In Kanyakumar

Kanyakumari: As the nation eagerly awaits the end of the final phase election and the results of the Lok Sabha election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertakes a spiritual retreat, continuing his tradition of seeking solace in moments of reflection following intense election campaigns. In a departure from the political hustle and bustle, PM Modi made his way to the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Tamil Nadu’s Kanniyakumari, situated at the southernmost tip of mainland India. Here, amidst serene surroundings, he is set to embark on a 45-hour-long meditation journey, commencing from the evening of May 30 and concluding on the evening of June 1, at the Dhyan Mandapam.

Upon his arrival, PM Modi offered special prayers to Godess Bhagavathi Amman. Security has been beefed up at the site with 2,000 police personnel deployed. This apart Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard will keep a tight vigil.
