Sambalpur, Odisha: In a dramatic rescue operation, an infant found stuck in an abandoned borewell in Sambalpur district, Odisha, was successfully rescued after over five hours. The child, apparently newly born, has no claimant, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A rescue operation lasting over five hours involved efforts to safely retrieve the child from the borewell. The baby, now rescued, is being transported to a hospital in Sambalpur in an ambulance. Authorities are examining the circumstances of how the child ended up in the borewell, and locals suspect the infant might have been intentionally abandoned.

The infant, rescued successfully, will be thoroughly examined for any injuries or health issues. The authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident to determine the identity of the child and the events leading to the infant’s predicament in the abandoned borewell.
