A stunning night-time video captured from the cockpit of an IndiGo flight has gone viral after showing the illuminated India-Pakistan border stretching across the darkness below.
The footage was shared by pilot Pradeep Krishnan, who recorded the breathtaking aerial view during a late-night journey. The clip featured a glowing line of yellow floodlights marking the heavily guarded border between the two neighbouring nations.
Rare aerial view amazes viewers
In the viral video, Captain Krishnan can be heard informing passengers about the historic sight below.
“Ladies and gentlemen, if you look outside the aircraft, you might capture a glimpse of one of the most sensitive, heavily guarded borders of the world, India and Pakistan border,” he announced during the flight.
The visuals showcased the famous Radcliffe Line illuminated against the otherwise dark terrain. From cruising altitude, the border appeared as a continuous stream of lights cutting through the landscape, creating a dramatic contrast visible even from far above.
The video caption noted that the India-Pakistan border is among the few boundaries reportedly visible from space at night because of its extensive lighting infrastructure.
