In Pune, there exists a unique phenomenon known as ‘Puneri Patya’- informational boards adorned with local slang and often tinged with humor and sarcasm. One particularly famous warning reads, “Dara samor gadi lau naye anyatha hava kadhnyat yeil” (Don’t park your vehicle in front of the gate, or else it will get punctured).
Recently, an elderly man decided to turn this caution into action when a car was allegedly parked in his vicinity. A viral video captured the moment as he punctured the vehicle’s tire, reportedly in Sadashiv Peth.
The incident quickly became a topic of debate on social media, with netizens reveling in Pune’s characteristic wit. Comments flooded in, with many jokingly attributing the incident to typical Puneri behavior. “Only in Pune would you see this!” exclaimed one user.
