Jaipur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to transforming India into a developed nation by 2047 during his address at the Karyakarta Sammelan in Jaipur. Shah contrasted this vision with what he described as the focus of the INDIA bloc on promoting the careers of political heirs. He cited examples such as Sonia Gandhi’s backing of Rahul Gandhi for the prime ministerial role and Lalu Yadav’s support for his son Tejashwi Yadav.

Speaking at the Prabuddhjan Sammelan in Jaipur, Shah outlined the achievements of the Modi government over the past decade. These include the implementation of the One Rank One Pension scheme, the abrogation of Article 370, and the reintroduction of cinema halls in Jammu and Kashmir after a hiatus of 30 years. He highlighted the government’s efforts in ensuring national security, particularly in responding to incidents like Pulwama and Uri.

Shah criticized what he termed as the “four forms of scars” on the country: nepotism, corruption, appeasement, and casteism, asserting that the Modi government has worked to address these issues. He mentioned the enactment of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the abolition of triple talaq, and the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand.

Furthermore, Shah praised the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, noting its successful vaccination drive and the distribution of vaccines to over 100 countries. He also commended the administration’s efforts in providing food grains, sanitation facilities, LPG connections, and healthcare benefits to millions of households across the country.

In a jab at Rahul Gandhi, Shah contrasted the Prime Minister’s work ethic, highlighting Modi’s consistent dedication over the past 23 years without taking a leave. He concluded by underscoring India’s proactive stance on national security under the Modi government, particularly through surgical strikes and airstrikes in response to terrorist attacks like Pulwama and Poonch.
