The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested a resort owner and his wife from Idukki for allegedly exporting ketamine to Australia. The accused, Deol and his wife Manju, run the Sunset Valley Resort located in Panchalimedu.

As per NCB sources, Deol is believed to be a close associate of Edison from Muvattupuzha, who is suspected to be the key figure behind “Ketamelon”—a darknet-based drug trafficking platform.

Investigations suggest that the couple had been involved in the illegal export of ketamine, a potent psychoactive substance, to Australia since 2019. The two were presented before the court and have been placed in judicial custody.

Officials confirmed that the probe is ongoing, with efforts focused on identifying other operatives in this international narcotics ring.
