Sabarimala temple to remain closed from tonight

Kerala: Amid protests against the entry of women of all ages into Sabarimala temple, it will remain closed after offering `Thula Pooja` at around 10 PM on Monday, October 22.

Due to this, there would be no entry for the devotees after 7 PM on Monday. The temple will be opened for the entry of devotees on November 5 at around 5 PM and it will remain closed again on November 6, at around 10 PM.

After 10 days, the temple will be opened for the entry of devotees on November 16 and it will remain so until the Mandala Pooja on December 27. It may be noted that though the Supreme Court had allowed all women to enter the temple, they could not due to massive huge protests by some sections of the public.
