Recognizing its potential, industry experts began approaching Kishan, leading to a pivotal meeting with Matt Mullenweg, founder of WordPress and Automattic, in 2023. Following extensive discussions, Automattic acquired texts.com in October of that year for $50 million (approximately ₹416 crore). Mullenweg lauded Kishan as a “Generational tech genius” for his innovative vision.
Today, Kishan leads the texts.com team under Automattic’s stewardship in the United States, spearheading efforts to expand and enhance the platform’s capabilities. His story underscores the transformative power of self-directed learning and entrepreneurial spirit in the realm of technology.
