Doctors at a hospital in Bihar were astonished when a woman’s husband arrived with both his wife and the snake that had bitten her.

Rahul, the husband of 29-year-old Nisha, brought her to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Bhagalpur district after she was bitten by a snake while cleaning their house in Jhurkhuriya village, Sabour. He had found the snake behind a picture of a deity after Nisha called out for help.

Using a stick, Rahul managed to capture the snake and placed it in a bucket. Nisha had fainted by then. He then loaded both the snake and his wife onto his bike and rushed to the hospital.

Upon arrival, hospital staff were surprised to see Rahul carrying the snake in the bucket. After ensuring safety, they admitted Nisha to the emergency department where she received treatment for the snakebite, with doctors analyzing the snake’s venom.

Fortunately, Nisha’s condition is reported to be stable. The snake remains in the hospital’s care.
