Posts circulating online have alleged that some individuals who gained prominence during the demonstrations were social media personalities rather than NEET aspirants. However, these claims have not been independently verified.

The online discussion intensified after users questioned whether some of the prominent faces seen during the protest were genuine students or content creators who became popular through the movement.
The posts have fuelled discussions over who represented the protest and whether all participants were directly affected by the NEET examination.
