In a tense development in Kerala’s northern district of Kannur, police on Tuesday recovered six steel bombs from a deserted compound in Koothuparamba. The shocking discovery has raised fresh concerns about illegal explosives being stored in residential or abandoned areas.
According to officials, the recovery followed a specific tip-off that prompted local law enforcement to conduct a targeted search operation. During the sweep, officers came across a suspicious plastic carry bag tucked away in the isolated property.
