A fierce storm hit Delhi-NCR on Friday evening, leaving a trail of destruction in Noida’s Jaypee Aman Society, Sector 151. High-speed winds ripped through the residential complex, tearing off windows and doors from multiple flats and triggering fear among residents.
Disturbing visuals showed shattered glass and broken doors littering the premises. Some heavy AC units also plummeted from building exteriors, raising serious safety concerns. Several towers within the society reported major structural damage.
Angry residents have blamed the developer for shoddy construction. Allegations of poor-quality materials and negligence have intensified, with society members now calling for a comprehensive structural audit.
AOA President Yogesh Singh confirmed the widespread damage and placed full responsibility on the builder. He urged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Noida Authority to intervene and launch an immediate investigation to avoid any future catastrophe.
