The Supreme Court, during its session on Tuesday, urged the Centre and the National Testing Agency (NTA) not to view petitions concerning NEET-UG 2024 as confrontational legal disputes. Instead, the court emphasized the importance of promptly acknowledging and correcting any errors that may have occurred.
The apex court was addressing petitions alleging irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 examinations. It underscored that even minor oversights should be swiftly addressed by authorities.
“In instances where there is even 0.001% negligence, it must be thoroughly addressed,” the Supreme Court asserted.
Furthermore, the court directed the Centre and NTA to provide a response regarding alleged paper leaks during NEET-UG 2024 by July 8.
