On Thursday evening, close to 300 individuals gathered near Ecospace in Bellandur to express their support for Atul Subhash, the tech employee who tragically ended his life earlier in the week. The candlelight vigil saw the participation of tech workers, including some of Subhash’s colleagues, who came together to pay their respects and demonstrate solidarity with his family and friends.
The emotional event was organized to raise awareness about mental health issues and the struggles faced by professionals in high-pressure industries. In addition to tech experts, several representatives from various organizations attended, offering their condolences and contributing to the discussion surrounding workplace stress and mental well-being.
Atul Subhash, a 30-year-old IT professional, had been working in Bengaluru when he succumbed to the pressures of life, sparking an outpouring of support from his colleagues.
