In a tragic incident, 40-year-old journalist and prominent Telugu news presenter Swetcha Votarkar was found dead at her residence on Friday night, police confirmed on Saturday. Swetcha, known for her fearless journalism and passionate advocacy for Telangana, allegedly died by suicide.
According to police reports, she was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan. A case has been registered based on a complaint by her father, who named an individual he believes is responsible for her death. Further investigation is underway.
