The family had been picnicking when they found themselves on a rock amidst the cascading waterfall. Despite desperate attempts to hold on, they were quickly overwhelmed by the torrent and swept downstream as onlookers watched in horror, unable to intervene due to the dangerous conditions.

Emergency responders, aided by locals, immediately launched a rescue operation upon the incident around 1:30 pm. Initial reports suggest the tourists may have slipped on mossy boulders, accentuated by the increased water flow, leading to their tragic fate.

The incident has sparked concerns about safety measures at the site and the downstream Bhusi Dam, prompting calls for enhanced security arrangements to prevent such accidents in the future.
