Suryapet : Two men and a 12-year-old girl tragically drowned in a lake in Suryapet district, Telangana, during a birthday party in Bopparam village on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on the outskirts of Bopparam village within Atmakur police station limits. The victims, identified as Tippareddy Sripalreddy (42), a builder from Khammam, Shavalya Raju (45), a software professional from Narsaraopet, Andhra Pradesh, and Shavalya Raju’s daughter, Shavalya Usha (12), a student, were attending a birthday celebration when the tragedy unfolded.
Police promptly responded to the scene and have transferred the bodies to Suryapet District Hospital for post-mortem examination. This unfortunate incident has cast a pall over the community, with authorities continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the drowning.
