Triple Murder in Delhi’s Neb Sarai Sparks Shock and Political Outrage

In a horrifying murder, a family of three was allegedly stabbed to death in their home in South Delhi’s Neb Sarai area on Wednesday morning. Rajesh (53), his wife Komal (47), and their daughter Kavita (23) were found dead, while their son survived as he was out for his morning walk when the attack occurred.

The son, who left the house around 5 a.m., returned to discover the tragic scene and alerted the neighbors. Police arrived at the scene and have initiated an investigation. Preliminary reports suggest no signs of robbery or ransacking.

A neighbor revealed that the family was celebrating Rajesh and Komal’s wedding anniversary that morning. “The son mentioned he had gone out for his walk after wishing them. When he came back, he saw his family stabbed and blood everywhere,” the neighbor told ANI.

The incident has sparked political criticism, with Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal launching sharp attacks on the Centre. Atishi accused the central government of failing to maintain security in the capital, citing the growing instances of violent crime.

Kejriwal echoed these sentiments, stating that law and order in Delhi had collapsed, with criminals acting unchecked. “Innocent lives are being lost, and the authorities responsible remain silent,” he posted on X.

The gruesome murders come amid rising concerns over safety in the city, further heating up political discourse ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections.
