In a heartbreaking incident early on Monday, two trainee pilots were killed, and two others sustained severe injuries when their vehicle collided with a tree in Pune district, Maharashtra. The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. on the Baramati-Bhigwan Road. The victims were part of the Redbird Flight Training Academy in Baramati.

According to police officials, the accident was caused by intoxicated driving, as the group had been at a small gathering prior to the crash. The force of the impact was so intense that both Takshu Sharma and Aditya Kanase, both 21 years old, tragically died at the scene. The two remaining passengers were seriously injured and were immediately taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

Initial reports suggest that the accident happened when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to alcohol consumption. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause and circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
