Officials said on Thursday that a barber was detained in a lockup at a police station in Budaun, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly arriving at a police officer’s house late for a haircut.

According to reports, Circle Officer (CO) Sunil Kumar called barber Vinod Kumar at his house to get a haircut, which is when the incident happened.

Talking to the media, the victim’s brother Shiv Kumar said, “Vinod was busy with other customers so he got a bit late in reaching the residence of the CO.
