Police have arrested the operator of a private hospital and his aide for allegedly misbehaving with the sub-divisional magistrate during an inspection. The facility had been sealed on June 19 due to “irregularities” but was reportedly still operating, officials said.
District Magistrate (Chail) Yogesh Kumar Gaur received information on Saturday night that the hospital was functioning despite the seal. Upon arriving at the hospital, the SDM began recording videos with his mobile phone.
“Dr. Nisar Ahmed, the hospital operator, and his aide, Yasir Ahmed, obstructed the SDM, misbehaved with him, and snatched his mobile phone,” said Circle Officer (Chail) Manoj Singh Raghuwanshi. Both individuals were subsequently arrested.
