UP Madhyamik Siksha Parishad set to hold ‘world’s biggest examination’

Allahabad: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Siksha Parishad to be conducted by the UP Board examination 2016, scheduled to begin from February 18 next year, is all set to be the biggest exam in the world.

According to media reports as many as 67,93,034 students including 37,49,977 students of high school and 30,43,057 students of intermediate are enrolled for 2016 high school and intermediate UP Board exams. The report also states that the intermediate exam will continue till March 21, 2016, the High School exam would end early on March 9.

The UP Board will be setting up over 12,000 exam centers for the exam and reports suggest that 75% of the printing of answer booklets has already been completed.

With the intention to prevent students from copying, 31 districts, including Ambedkarnagar, Sultanpur, Santkabir Nagar, Siddarth Nagar, Kushi Nagar, Aligarh, Shahjahanpur, Moradabad, Badaun, Sambhal, Hardoi, Gonda, Mathura and others have been declared sensitive by the board.
