In an unusual turn of events in Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, a man arranged his wife’s marriage to her lover, citing concerns for his own safety following a recent husband’s murder in Meerut.
Fear-Driven Decision
🔹 Bablu, a laborer working in another state, had been married to Radhika since 2017. The couple has two children.
🔹 Radhika had been in a relationship with Vishal Kumar, a man from the same village, for over a year.
🔹 Despite Bablu’s pleas to end the affair, Radhika refused, leading him to take a drastic yet peaceful approach.
Marriage Arranged at Temple
On Monday, Bablu took Radhika and Vishal to Dhanghta Tehsil, where an agreement was drafted, and the couple tied the knot at a temple in the presence of villagers.
Meerut Murder Case Influence
Bablu admitted that the recent murder case in Meerut, where a wife and her lover allegedly killed her husband, made him fear for his own life. “I wanted to avoid any harm and live peacefully,” he stated.
Legal and Custody Matters
🔹 Bablu has decided to keep custody of his children.
🔹 When questioned about the legality of the marriage, he claimed it was valid as no family member objected.
