Muzaffarnagar: In a devastating incident, a collision between a car and a truck on the Delhi-Dehradun highway in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh resulted in the tragic death of at least six friends. The group, hailing from Delhi’s Shadara, was on a road trip to Haridwar in Uttarakhand when the accident occurred around 4 am near Rampur junction in the Chhapar police station area.
The victims have been identified as Shivam Tyagi, Parsh Sharma, Kunal Sharma, Dheeraj, Vishal, and an unidentified person. The car, a white-colored Ciaz, collided with a truck on National Highway-58, leading to the immediate demise of all six occupants.
Upon receiving news of the accident, the police promptly reached the scene, and with the assistance of a crane, the car stuck in the truck was extracted. The bodies have been sent for postmortem. According to initial reports, the car lost control and collided with the truck from behind.a
