The woman was found unresponsive on Friday evening when her mother and grandmother returned home after stepping out. Family members alerted neighbours, who informed the police.
The body was later shifted to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Police have registered a case of suspicious death based on a complaint filed by her mother, and further investigation is underway.
