Auckland/Mangaluru: Reshieal Monteiro from Mangalore wins 3 Gold & 2 Silver medals at Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship at Auckland, New Zealand. Reshieal Roshni Monteiro, daughter of Roshan & Lilly Monteiro from Rosario Cathedral, is a student of St Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru
Reshieal has won 3 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals for India in the sub-junior category at the Commonwealth Powerlifting & Bench Press Championship in Auckland, New Zealand. She has also won the “Best Lifter of the Championship” trophy.
In 2019 Reshieal started her powerlifting journey as a member of Sri Veera Maruthi Vyayama Shaale, Bolar when she was in Class 8 at Carmel School, Mangaluru. She is a resident of Mulihithlu.
