Be a light to others in life: Siraj Parladka

Dubai: The 21st episode of NewsKarnataka.com’s talk show ‘Sunday Celebrity’ was held on Sunday May 22 at 8.00 pm IST.

The guest for the evening was Siraj Parladka, Manager, Blood Helpline Karnataka (R). Floyd Kiran was the host for the event.

The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

In the beginning of the show Floyd Kiran introduced the guest and welcomed him.

Siraj Parladka recalling his Childhood, Education and Career stated, “I had to stop my education after class tenth. Back then we had financial crisis and nor was I very good at formal schooling. Later based on my interest I enrolled in learning the welding works and rendered my service in industrial sector. when I was twenty I entered into the migrant life, ” he recollected.

Speaking on his inspiration towards social service, Siraj Parladka went back to the days of poverty at home and stated, “Back then even when we had nothing I remember my mom giving rice grain as a charity and she indeed was an inspiration.”

In the ‘Celebrity Favourites’ segment he expressed, “My parents had built a house with their hard work. But post two years of construction due to financial crisis the house was sold. And so in 2016, when I built a house and brought my mother into it, that was the happiest moment of my life.”

Losing my mom is then saddest phase of my life, he shared stating, “In the times of financial crisis we were not sad because our dad did bestow us with happiness.”

When asked about retirement plans he said, “I have no such plans for retirement but only wish is that post my death there at least should be few people who speak good about me.”

Stating, “Be a light to people when living. Don’t expect anything in life rather have the goals higher than expectation and work towards success, ” Siraj Parladka gave his message to the audience.

Kiran Nirkan wishing good luck signed off the session.
