Dubai: The 30th episode of NewsKarnataka.com’s talk show ‘Sunday Celebrity’ was held on Sunday July 24 at 8.00 pm IST.
The guest for the evening was Antony S. Mascarenhas, Magician, Dubai. Floyd Kiran was the host for the event.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
In the beginning of the show Floyd Kiran introduced the guest and welcomed him.
Antony S. sharing about his childhood said, “Being the youngest kid at home I was raised with possessiveness and got no opportunity to mingle with friends and acquaintances.”
“The magic shows held in our high school times inspired me towards the field. I collected the books which were available on magic shows, witnessed the shows, and also followed paper articles on the same,” he said.
Back in India, magic is just considered a hobby and have no much scope compared to countries like America where magicians can even earn a degree in the field.”
In the ‘Celebrity Favourites’ segment he shared Chess, Carrom and coin collections were the other hobbies he has cultivated.
“Being in six years of relationship and getting married to the love of my life was the happiest moment,” he shared.
Showcasing some magic tricks to the audience Antony shared a piece of advice and said, “If you have any hobbies, keep it alive. These hobbies will give you solace during your difficult times.”
