Chittaguppa: A resident of Meenakera village in the taluk, struggling with alcohol addiction, tragically took his own life by hanging. The deceased, identified as Shyamanna Ghaleppa (58), worked as a laborer in the village and had previously made suicide attempts due to his alcohol dependency. Mannaekheli police have initiated a case in connection with this incident.
