Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, is set to undertake a series of engagements during his visit to Karnataka, including participating in a roadshow and addressing organizational meetings.

In his day-long schedule, Shah will kick off his activities by addressing the Sakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan at Palace Ground in Bengaluru on Tuesday morning. This event aims to strengthen grassroots leadership and organizational capacity in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Following this, Shah will convene a Core Group Meeting of the BJP in Bengaluru to discuss crucial policy matters and devise strategies for the region.

Later in the day, Shah will lead a roadshow from Chikkamalur to DT Ramu Circle, Channapatna, in Karnataka’s Ramanagara district. This roadshow will provide an opportunity for Shah to interact with citizens and showcase the government’s initiatives.

Shah’s visit underscores the importance of Karnataka in the political landscape and demonstrates the government’s dedication to the state’s development and welfare.

The BJP has nominated candidates in 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka, reserving three seats for its ally JD(S). Notably, JD(S) patriarch H D Deve Gowda’s son-in-law, C N Manjunath, will contest from Bengaluru Rural constituency against D K Suresh, the brother of Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.

The general elections in Karnataka will be conducted in two phases, scheduled for April 26 and May 7, encompassing a total of 28 constituencies.
