Kalaburagi: Priyank Kharge, the district in-charge minister for Kalaburagi, is scheduled to lead the ‘Janata Darshan’ event at Chincholi town’s Taluk Stadium today, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.
The Kalaburagi Deputy Commissioner, Fauzia Tarunnum, announced that preparations have been made to accommodate the anticipated crowd of approximately 4,000 attendees at the ‘Janata Darshan’ event. Adequate seating, drinking water, and meals have been arranged, along with the installation of a Shamian tent and organized parking facilities. Additionally, department-specific stalls have been set up to inform the public about various government schemes. Tarunnum assured that all arrangements have been meticulously orchestrated to ensure the event’s grand success.
The top 20 departments participating in the event include Food, Agriculture, Women and Child Welfare, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Sericulture, Horticulture, Labor, Traffic Police, Revenue, and more. Staff will be on-site to address technical issues related to ration card corrections, Aadhaar, KYC, voter IDs, Griha Lakshmi, Griha Jyoti, and various other schemes. A total of 15 counters will be operational for receiving grievance petitions.
Furthermore, the district in-charge minister will oversee the distribution of goods and materials to beneficiaries under various departmental schemes, including pension orders and sanction letters. Key departmental officers at the district and taluk levels will be present. Fauzia Tarunnum urged the public to make the most of this opportunity as the government is bringing its services to their doorstep.
During the previous week, Rajneesh Goel, the Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, advised Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to organize ‘Janata Darshan’ events simultaneously in all state districts on September 25. These events will be led by district in-charge ministers and are to be conducted following established protocols, including the participation of relevant elected representatives, all under the minister’s guidance.
In light of this directive, he instructed the Deputy Commissioners, District and Panchayat Chief Executive Officers, and Superintendents of Police in their respective districts to make the required preparations and take necessary measures to ensure that the event is conducted with decorum and responsibility.
