In Bagalkot, a complaint was filed against SDPI worker Syed Bhasha after he shared a WhatsApp status featuring a photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the President of Palestine. Bhasha claims that he was called to the Badami police station for questioning, where he was allegedly assaulted by PSI Vithal Nayak and other officers.
Following the incident, SDPI leaders expressed outrage on social media, demanding an investigation into the alleged police misconduct. However, District Superintendent of Police Amarnath Reddy denied the claims, stating that the allegations were false and part of a smear campaign against the police.
