Ballari police conducted a raid on a house in Valmikinagar and arrested two accused individuals, seizing 18 kilograms of ganja stored in the premises.
Acting on a credible tip-off, the police carried out the operation and confiscated the stored ganja. The accused have been identified as Chandbasha and Waheed, both residents of Ballari. Police officials stated that four more suspects are still at large, and efforts are underway to apprehend them.
Over the past six months, the police have registered 18 cases under the NDPS Act. However, many of the accused have since been released on bail.
