Accused Arrested for Theft of Pump Sets in Nayanagar

Belagavi: Authorities in Bailahongala have successfully tracked down and apprehended the individuals responsible for stealing 10 pump sets from a farmer’s land near the Malaprabha river in Nayanagar village. The arrested individuals include Mohammadanadeem Mohammadhaneefa Hebballi (33), Riyaza Rafika Karigara (28), Sameera Nazira Hebballi (21), and Zakir Husena Noorhamada Maladara (25) from Malapoor Qadri Galli, Dharwad.

Following their arrest, authorities seized 10 pump sets valued at ₹2 lakh and a Tata S vehicle worth ₹3 lakh. The accused have been placed in judicial custody.

The successful operation was conducted by a team led by Belagavi SP Bhima Shankar Guleda, KSPS Shruti K., Additional SP R.B. Basaragi, DySP Ravi Nayka, PI P.V. Salimath, PSIs Gururaja Kalaburgi and F.Y., along with dedicated staff under the leadership of Mallura.
