Bagalakote: Bhandaramaya Beeradeva Fair was held at Kulageri Village in Badami Taluk in the District.
In this Biresha fair, devotees who take vows offer obeisance to the deity every year by pouring bags of bhandara as much as they ask for. Hundreds of bags of bhandara are thrown by the devotees who believe that the demand will be fulfilled. Thousands of devotees who participated in the fair offered dates, banana, and offered all of it with devotion.
As part of the fair, the festival of Baramadeva, Pallakki Utsava, Vahanotsavam and Deepotsavam were held, at night there were drums and pushpa pooja programmes. Also entertainment programmes were held for the devotees who came to the fair, including the continuous offering of food.
