Bagalakote: Doctors at Sri Kumareswara Hospital in City have successfully removed 187 coins swallowed by an elderly man.
Dyamappa Harijan (58), a resident of Lingasugur Taluk, was paid 56 coins of Rs. 5, 51 coins of Rs. 2 and 80 coins of Re. 1, 187 coins in total were swallowed. He was recently brought to Sri Kumareshwara Hospital of B. V. S. Sangha by his family members.
When the doctors performed an X-ray, they found coins in his stomach. A team of expert doctors then removed all the coins through an endoscopy.
