Bagalkot: Despite the appointment of the BJP state president, chosen by the leader of the opposition, internal confusion continues within the BJP. Reports suggest that several BJP leaders may defect to the Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
In a new development related to Operation Hasta, Congress MLA Lakshman Savadi has revealed that numerous dissatisfied BJP leaders are in contact. Speaking to reporters in Bagalkot, Savadi mentioned that the next phase of the operation will commence after January 26, and he suggested assessing the number of leaders who might join during that time.
Several BJP leaders are in contact with us, and we encourage them to consider their status upon joining the party. To ensure clarity and fairness for those transitioning from the BJP, we extend a respectful welcome to those who join voluntarily.
“In preparation for the Lok Sabha elections, we aim to secure 20 seats in the state, and we have already outlined a blueprint for this goal,” stated Lakshman Savadi in Bagalkot.
