Belagavi: The Anti-Conversion Law passed by the State Government was applauded by Siddhagiri Matha Seer Sri Adrushya Kadasiddeshwara Swami.

“We are all pleased that a law prohibiting religious conversions has been passed by the State Government. It is dangerous and needs to be closely controlled. According to him, mosques would be built in front of every maths and temple if we don’t stop conversions.

He was speaking at a Sant Samavesh in Kaneri of Kolhapura in Maharashtra on Monday October 10. “Unchecked conversion could result in our nation being erased. Converts will be robbed of their national identity next. All of us will be left without our own country, he warned.

The seer urged all religious authorities to take steps to halt conversions. It is high time we brought back our brothers who are misled and converted, he remarked.
