Belagavi: A leopard attacked a labourer at Jadhav Nagar on the afternoon of Friday August 4 and disappeared into the forest. The labourer has been identified as Sidrai Nilajkar, who has been injured on the shoulder.
The personnel of Police Department, Forest Department as well as Fire and Emergency Services are combing the area.
Nilajkar has been shifted to the District Hospital.
The residents of the area have been warned to remain indoors.
