Belagavi: Home Minister Araga Jnanendra said that for the welfare of paramilitary personnel, the State Government has issued an order to provide qualified facilities to the Retired Personnel of Central Armed Police Forces, CAPAF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB.

Replying to a question raised by Congress Deputy leader U.T. Khader under a calling attention motion, the Minister said an order was issued on November 1 to designate those who retired after serving in the Central Armed Forces as ex-servicemen of the Central Armed Forces and consider them for eligible benefits on the lines of the Central Government.

“Also, reservation will be provided to them in case of appointment of such posts in the Fire Brigade and various departments. This will prevent special training. As per the orders of the State Government, 46 retired employees are already getting the benefits they deserve.
