Speaking to mediapersons here, he said that the reservation given in education and employment is not enough as compared to the population of Vokkaliga commyunity. Most of the Vokkaligas are farmers and contributing immensely to the country. For this, a request has been made to CM Bommai to take steps to increase the reservation. We have not asked for more reservation, it has been requested to be given only according to the population. There is no pressure here, he said.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai understands the need of all communities. He will give social justice to all, he said.
“The increase in reservation for SC/ST communities has been under discussion for a long time. But only Chief Minister has taken steps to make it a reality,” he said.
