The expedition has brought together 510 cadets and 15 associate officers representing five NCC Directorates from seven states and two Union Territories, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Pondicherry, and Lakshadweep.

Participants will embark on treks through scenic locations like Basurte, Belgundi, Devarwadi, Hangaraga, and Mahipalgad, blending adventure with exploration. The itinerary includes educational visits to prominent Army institutions, such as the Commando Wing, MLIRC Centre, and the historic Rajhansgad Fort.

This national event aims to foster unity, inspire a love for nature, and develop endurance and teamwork among cadets. Activities will emphasize preserving ecological balance and appreciating India’s cultural and historical heritage.

The camp will conclude with a vibrant cultural showcase, where cadets will highlight the traditions and artistry of their respective regions. Key figures, including Colonel Mohan Naik, Colonel Sunil Dagar, and Wing Commander Deepak Balhra, are ensuring the smooth execution of this expedition.

By combining adventure with education, Belgaum Trek-2024 serves as a platform to instill leadership, camaraderie, and environmental awareness.
