Belagavi: Dr. M.B. Boralingaiah has been promoted and posted as new Police Commissioner of the City.
Dr. M.B. Boralingaiah, a batch 2008 officer hails from Mallanayakahalli village in Maddur Taluk of Mandya District. Having completed his MBBS at the Mysore Medical College in 2004, he received training at Hyderabad and then at Gulbarga.
Meanwhile, Dr K. Thiyagarajan, Deputy Inspector General and Commissioner of Police, Belagavi City has been transferred with immediate effect and posted until further order as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Recruitment, Bengaluru.
