Belagavi: Shah praises CM for installing Savarkar’s portrait

Belagavi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for installing the portrait of V. D. Savarkar in the legislature at Belagavi.

Speaking during the Jana Sankalpa Yatra at MK Hubballi here, he urged people to ensure that the BJP won in 16 of the district’s 18 seats. He remembered Sri Basavanna, Rani Channamma of Kittur, as well as the Mathas and seers.

Each vote for JD (S) will benefit Congress, he said.

The poor have access to a number of projects because of Modiji. According to him, 10 Crore crore people have toilets in their houses, along with 3 Crore people who have houses and power.

What help has Congress and JD (S) provided for the underprivileged? Shah informed the gathering that the Centre has made sure that everyone in India received a free dose of the Covid vaccine.

Over 13 Crore people have received gas cylinders from the government. Shah spoke about the importance the BJP Government gave to the upliftment of the underprivileged, backward, Dalits, and Adivasis, he said, adding that since the lockdown, all the poor families in the country have been able to receive 5 kg of free rice.

He also emphasised the initiatives of the Modi Administration and urged young people to assist India to become the top nation in the world.
