Dharawad: “Everyone should celebrate Holi and Shabbi Bharat in peace and harmony. You should not indulge in illegal acts under any circumstances, said Hubballi-Dharawad Police Commissioner Raman Gupta. He added, “legal action will be taken against anyone found guilty of committing any illegal act.”
Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “Precautionary measures will be taken to avoid any untoward incident in any way. In this regard, a meeting was held under the leadership of religious leaders of all religions and community leaders and suitable suggestions have been given.”
The people of the twin cities of Hubballi-Dharawad should celebrate the festivals in harmony and peace, he said and appealed to the people not to allow disturbances and untoward incidents in any way.
