Dharawad: Central and State leaders are campaigning in the entire State. The campaign has been successful, said BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel and added that BJP will get majority and come back to power again under the guidance of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa.
Speaking at a press conference in the City, he said, “We are all party of activists. This time 73 new faces have been fielded. Tickets are given to ordinary workers. Mahesh Tenginakai, who has worked for decades has been given a ticket in a field like Hubballi, he noted.
Double engine Government scheme has reached people. People’s opinion is in favour of BJP. Many schemes have been implemented since Narendra Modi Government has come, he added.
“Congress is doing politics in the name of caste. It is in the public mind that reservation has been given. BJP has given equality to all communities. The Congress Government which did not speak during the opening of temples and churches spoke when the dargah was opened. Congress Government has blocked road widening. We are going to the people through the achievements of our Government,” he said.
The BJP leaders’ visit to the State has received an unprecedented welcome. In Old Mysuru people gathered beyond our expectations. BJP has strengthened its foothold in the JD (S) stronghold, he said and added that people are praising the work of Modi Government.
