Dharawad: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president DK Shivakumar said “I am happy that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to the State, however he questioned why PM is not raising the issue of corruption and scams in the BJP Government in the State.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “It is just a government of promises and B-report. Corruption is taking place in all kinds of appointments including PSI, vice-chancellors, and engineers, he noted.
“The Prime Minister who says that he will neither eat nor let others eat, should tell me what action he has taken in this regard,” he sought.
“The BJP Government in the State is running a commission racket in every single work. He did not respond to a letter from Contractors’ Association President Kempanna on corruption. The increased gas price has not been reduced,” he alleged.
